DONS (Dads of Newport & Surrounds)
The DONS is a not-for-profit community initiative developed by Studio Ramp together with the Dads of Newport & Surrounding suburbs.
The DONS is a long term community engagement project, to date Studio Ramp has developed the brand identity, community & business engagement strategies and event creation / management. The goal of the group is to bring together like minded Dads who are at similar stages in their lives. The DONS events are all about having fun and the bi-product is a tighter knit community and an invaluable support network.
Over time it’s easy to loose connections with the Dads you meet, especially with kids going to different kinders and schools. The DONS catchup every few months, in an effort to maintain these connections and builds a stronger more connected community.
Businesses in the area often donate vouchers to the DONS so they can raise money at their events for local causes and groups – this way everyone benefits.
